RA Complaints Thread
Stock Wheel Radio Buttons
I'm a new RA owner but I have a rant...
Does it really make any sense to have the radio buttons on the steering wheel "scan" to the next available station rather than "jump" to the next preset station?
Seriously... Reaaaally?
I don't want to listen to one station then have to push the up button a gajillion times to get to the next station.
Is there anyway to fix this?

If it's stopped and it's idling at 2k, that's not weird, that's not normal.
If you mean that as you're coasting, you expect the clutch to disengage and freewheel, that's up to the computer. Sometimes it engine brakes and your motor will be doing 2k with your foot off the gas.

the old cars ive driven (AT) all coast around idle RPM .. I guess the TCU always wants to keep the car ready for some power..

If the buttons are on the steering wheel, it would be easier than taking your eyes off the road to reach over and find what button you want to push on the radio.

Why was my post moved to this tread?? Is it cause I said I had a rant?
I would rather not have to read through a hundred posts about other complaints to find anything about radio buttons.
Moving my post makes about much sense as the radio button on my steering wheel. Lol.
I agree having the up/down arrows on the steering wheel simply work the radio tuner is pretty ridiculous. I was pretty mad actually when I realized this after the fact, as it kind of defeats the purpose of having steering wheel controls when you still have to reach over to the radio while driving and hit the preset number.
Just one of the few very out of date "features" the RA is rocking in the interior.

The paint job is probably the worst I have ever seen...I have 3,000 miles, 3M on 65% of the car and only drive it to work. Every part that doesn't have 3M such as the mid rear doors are starting to chip in small speckles. I never drive off road or in gravel...Just city driving.
^I now have about 40,000 speckles throughout the car from my daily commute. Lots on the hood. Mega****ton on the rear quarters. You'd never notice them from 3ft and back. But it's there. While the paint quality does completely suck...I don't think it phases me anymore, I'm past that "keep my car pristine" stage, haha. And, I'm still quite happy with my (still stock) RA.
The paint does suck, but that's pretty normal for cars in this price range.
I think it will only get worse unfortunately as apparently the new environmentally friendly paint that is starting to be used by most car companies chips a lot easier from what I hear. =/
