the springs will probably "void" ur warranty on the Strut... other than that i dun see how they can void other stuffs?

just think of how a mod can "fk up" ur OEM parts... than a dealership will probably void warranty on those parts

best thing it do is talk to ur dealership

My dealer told me as long as i was up front with them, they would take care of me. I have been in for about 3 recalls, 1 service and 1 warranty on a body part, and everything is all good still. But they just started selling Mitsu, and are just trying to build a customer base. Plus this has be a topic before. You should try the search first.

This topic has:

1). Already been covered.
2). Not gone anywhere and has come up with the same rhetorical answer since the first time it was contemplated.

Badchad, what do you think is going to happen to your warranty? Yeah, that drop-in is some serious ****. Better watch out...

Why, you ask?

Those are just the threads that I could find in 2 minutes of clicking through pages (not even using the SEARCH button). If you have a question, look first...then ask.

Here is what bugs me, and after this I will really be done: What do you notice about every single one of those threads? The same advice is given: it all depends on your dealer. If you have a hard @$$ Service Department, guess what, you are more likely to have issues when you go in to get warranty work done on a modified car. I know, revelation right. If you don't know what the service department at your dealership is like, I would find that out now. Go in. Get your oil changed. Talk to people. Ask hypothetical questions. Get to know the manager. Common sense stuff.

But here is the point:

1). You know that old adage, if you have to ask how much something costs, you probably can't afford it? Same is true of modifying cars. I got the cheapest warranty that I could, because I know that I have probably voided it like 50 times over by now. I installed a factory Navigation unit in my car (came out of a stock Lancer). Same part number as the Ralliart Navigation Unit. I was told by the service manager at the dealership that "If I were to install the unit, he was going to have my electrical warranty voided." They really can and will do whatever they want. It makes no difference what anyone says on this site.

2). Eh, you get the point.
