Have you been Evo'ed?
It doesn't matter what he is referring to. The EVO is a Lancer TOO. Answering the question, "Is that an EVO?" with "No, it's a Lancer." doesn't make any sense. Like it or not, EVO is just a trim level of the Lancer. Responding with "No, it's a Lancer." makes about as much sense as answering with "No, it's a car."

That is what I was arguing. Can't read?
Surprisingly, it happens more often in North Carolina than it did in Florida. The meets around here are packed with ricers. Some guy at the last meet I went to in Raleigh was running an open header. Not only did it smell horrible, but it was WAY too loud. Not to mention, the car was still REALLY slow.
I get it all the time, then I tell them it's a Ralliart. Then they say what's that? Then after I explain it they still seem like they don't get it. So anymore when someone asks I just say yea pretty much.

I have witnessed some pretty crude things done with a sawzaw.
now that i write out my explanation i see why i get the glazed over look.
happens to me ALL the time too, i used to try to explain its an evo-"lite". "its an evo 9 AWD system with an evo x engine, and an evo x MR trans, but a smaller turbo, with an evo 10 body and interior/seats with a twin clutch transmission......" now i just say yes!

i really hate explaining .. =P When I say its a Ralliart and I see ??? above their head, I know that I shouldn't start explaining ..
I get it all the time, usually when I say its a ralliart I get a REE-REE face from them. Next question is "Whats that?" after that one usually "Is it stick?"
Forget about it if I tell them that its AWD and has different settings lol.

I have figured out the problem. No one in the Research Triangle Park area knows how to use a turn signal, even at night. Combine that with idiots who don't have a clue what they are doing, and you get disaster.

...even got called a subaru imprezza in the writeup the drag strip did for the local news paper. That's gotta be worse than being evo'd
