crooked steering wheel!!!

Just noticed today that my steering wheel is slightly crooked!!! Now that I notice it, it is really bothering me.

That said on a straight road and the car going straight the steering wheel is off center to the right / slightly . The car only has 4000km on it so I wanted to see if all other ralliart's are the same or should I bring it in for an alignment?

Also, another quick ? , one of my co-workers noticed that there was white smoke coming out my exhaust when (I'm guess when my turbo kicks in) is this normal? It was early this morning and only drove about 10mins when he noticed this.

Thanks,

chunkd

usually when you see lots of white smoke coming from the exhaust, it means turbo s leaking oil to exhaust~

n the steering wheel problem, it happen on my car too...

Take it in and tell them that the steering is tilted. I told the dealer and fixed it right away

1: could be an alignment issue. factory settings have a pretty broad tolerance; almost +-0.5 degrees for camber and +-0.5 for total toe in for some vehicles.

2: white smoke could be raw fuel too. get on it on a cold morning and your AFR's are in the low 10's you'll see it for sure. oil leaking from turbo would be bluish white smoke.

when I had my RA, my wheel was tilted 10 degrees too, and I had over 3 alignments done on it from different places.

it was especially noticeable on highways. I know we have thin/stiff tires so maybe part of it is because it's noticeable on roads where there is a slight curvature.

Taking it in on monday see what happens. They will probably do an alignment and charge me like 150 bux or something stupid.

I just got the seat replaced due to a flaw in the pattern .
