O2 Sensor CEL

OK so I am finally done dealing with this problem and I found something that might help others. After installing the turbo back AMS exhaust I tried using the viberant o2 spacer to turn off the CEL. I tired all 3 sizes at within the first few hours the CEL would come back on. So I am not sure if anyone can find the specs on the difference between a RA 02 sensor and a Evo GSR but there is diffently a visual difference. I purchased a used o2 sensor from a guy on this forum who drives a 08 GSR. The pigtail still fits but it was not a big and blocky as mine. I am guessing that maybe the o2 from a Evo has a different readout range than a RA. I am not a o2 genius or nothing but I do know electronics and I am guess the o2 sensors have a certain high/low range on them that causes a CEL to be thrown. Input anyone? Also wanted to post this for those like me that could not get the CEL to stay off to give this a try.

It was AMS tuned with a stock exhaust and I don't think adding an exhaust gives,me a good enough reason to retune ........this could be another way for people like me that have to travel 10 hours or more to find a good tuner. and I am not sure if you understand what I am saying because if you did you would not have posted an anti fouler instructional forum......ALREADY TRIED IT DID NOT WORK........and if you actually read the forum you linked there are people that still got a CEL....I am simply throwing a new idea out there that worked for me

Do you have a scan tool? If you do, mind doing a reading on the sensor itself?

did you go with the ams access port tune or openport....

if you went the cobb route they can disable the rear 02 sensor in the programming of the tune,

****ty so u have no means of flashing urself... well i think theres a thread in the evo X section about cancelling 02 sensors with that means of tuning, use that info and get someone local to make the change
