CBRD Ralliart developments and testing..
how about a manifold heat sheild... something that looks better then the oem one, for those of us who remove our engine covers and are bothered by the oem sheild
maybe one for stock turbo and mani, and another for your header... or could one cover fit both setups?

My goal for the full upgrade is apprx 320whp... 340-360 wtq......
The main goal was to create an upgrade for the STOCK turbo that allowed you to make slightly better than evo X OEM turbo power...
asking to make the power of a BBX lite or similar is just too out of the question, as the turbo housing is not big enough to allow us to fit compressor and turbine wheels of that size.
Obviously the expense of going with this upgrade will be much less than purchasing a used X turbo... manifold.. o2 housing... coolant/oil lines.. intake, relocate the battery...etc....
Cheers

Any recent RAD turbo updates to share?

Given the progress to date, do these HP and TQ targets from a few weeks ago still seem reasonable?
Thanks for your support of the RA community!
I have a used Ralliart Turbo not being used any more if anyone is interested.
Chad-
Any info on the 3rd party testing you mentioned before? I'd love to see some numbers on the RAD with the FMIC! Also, some info on dyno testing with new cams would be AMAZING; I'm trying to build a set-up for tracking my DD. Looking for reliability (of course), and good power without having to push too hard on her.
Any thoughts on using the RAD with cams for tracking, or was this turbo designed more for the drag strip; or for just DD with Evo power?
Shoot, I think I need to call you, too many questions...

If you guys want to see what this thing can do, check my build thread in the "Engine, Drivetrain" section. I have both the FMIC and the RAD Lite on my Ralliart. These things are out. If you want one, just talk to Chad or Matt@Spec-Ops. I am under the impression that Chad is up to his neck in work right now.

Sorry guys-
for some reason the thread wasnt refreshing in my searches-
Our car is basically now on the following:
CBRD RA FMIC, CBRD RA LICP, CBRD RA UICP
Stock airbox and filter
Stock catback
UR Downpipe, CBRD Resonated cat pipe
RAD Lite
I will post a dyno chart shortly!
We lost about 20whp/wtq removing our intake and catback, but I wanted to see what we could make on minimal modifications!
I believe our last dyno session was around 286whp/296 wtq with the above listed mods
i LOVE the little turbo-
Im actually doing a Ralliart to evo X turbo swap for a client next week (car is here already) and that will give me some overlays for spool etc
Cheers
