how would you wire up the halos? Or is it just a simple plug-n-play?

Correct. Any lancer family model projector headlamp will fit

I found someone on the forums who is selling their EVO X projectors and basically the dealer told them that it would fit any models from 2008 to 2010. I am thinking that they should work with an 09 RA. I don't want to buy them and then get stuck with them if they don't work out. These things are not cheap.

Just noticed your post.

I did not call your dealership since that was a bit out of my way. It would be nice to talk to a technician at a dealership instead of a service rep. Most of the service reps are pretty much how you mentioned.

So, I did purchase a projector housing complete with ballasts & bulbs from a seller on these forums. We had an IM conversation going on related to this last week. Can I purchase a leveler switch from the dealership & simply hookup?

I am not sure I understand what you mean? Sorry, I am a computer geek by day and a wanna-be car freak by nights. Do I need to bring the car to a dealership for this?

In another post you mention ...

Otherwise, if you wanted to be legit and have the fogs function as drls, if you live in an area that requires them or some such thing, then the computer can be programmed to accommodate that and make your fogs your drls, just like OEM configuration.
So, then if I bring my car to your dealership, will you be able to make the fogs as drls? how much would that be?

Basically, yes. You would buy the leveler switch from us and install it where the blank currently sits on the left of your dash. The car is pre-wired for it, it is just plugged into the back of nothing.

We would then go into the car's computer using our scan-tool laptop and reset the parameters so the car recognizes the fogs as drl's and the headlamps having the hid's with the leveler switch installed.

You can skip this whole process and just install the lenses, ballasts, etc. and just work it like normal off of your existing light stalk, but you'd never have the leveling feature and would need some sort of drl-disable harness so you don't burn out the stock hid ballasts.

I have a drl-disable harness from Jrox that I currently have installed with my HIDs to disable them as DRLs.

So, then I can install the projectors & hook up the harness to turn off the DRLs. But if the wiring is the ready for projectors, why would the ballasts burn out?

After I have them installed, can I bring my car to your dealership to do the for HIDs & the leveler switch? How much would that cost? Will the projectors work without the leveler switch?

Jrox' harness would be perfect if you don't plan on doing the changes in the ETACS. The reason that you'd need it is because the car will still think it has standard halogen lights installed and will continue to send a low-voltage drl signal through the low-beam headlamp wiring, potentially causing the ballasts to flicker on and off causing them to wear and burn out prematurely.

The only other thing I would want to make sure of, before doing the reprogram, is to make sure you wouldn't need a new non-fog equipped turn signal stalk (which I don't think you'd need) and just double check that the wiring stays the same and no pins need to be swapped if you do require a different switch but don't want to spend the money (again I think it'll be fine, but I will double check and get back to you)

The projectors will work just fine without the programming or the leveler switch, but it's definitely a cool feature to have, especially for all the guys who want to be able to run the fogs without the headlights on. Like mentioned before though, you just need to make sure you use the drl disable if you're not going to do a full conversion.

We can definitely do the reprogramming for you, and anyone else intersted. I'll get a discounted price for you, and anyone through evom that wants it done (or any other service or parts for that matter) and I'll pm you as soon as I get it approved and let you know how much.
