Not sure what you're talking about? Are you talking about installing the recaro back portion on the stock ralliart seat??

I didn't even know that was a possibility. Ive never heard of anyone doing this and I really cant see someone wanting to take apart a set of recaros to do this.

I've seen some people just selling the seat backs, so i guess a few have done it. I just want to see how it looks, also because the seats are not going to be replace there is not need to recalibrate them?

If thats the case then they shouldn't need to be re-calibrated.

I did not re-calibrated mine and they work perfect. Airbag light comes on as soon I start the car and than it goes off after few seconds.

Doesn't our seat back have an air bag in it? How does the car reconcile that?

Thats is why everyone wants X recaros instead of aftermarket racing seats. The x recaros have that airbag in em.

Finally somebody got it. Amen brother!

Somehow I feel like nobody believes me that this works. The problem is just the passenger seat. The sensors that are under the seat which tell the computer if someone is seating on the passenger seat. THAT IS THE ONLY THING YOU NEED DO SWAP WITH YOUR OLD SEAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the above pix shows what you have to swap with your old seat.

Yeah, the seats between the X (non leather) and recaro package are the same, however, the recaro package wasnt offered on the RA in 2011.
