2011+ Need Moleskins?

Hey guys, I previously had a '09 Lancer and when tinting moleskins were needed to prevent scratcheson the tint.

On my new RA the felt seems rather smooth along the window trim, anyone know if Mitsu corrected this issue? any '11 RA's with tinted windows without the moleskin?

'11 RA here and the window does have a felt window trim as the glass slides up/down. I have all windows tinted and not a single scratch anywhere. I believe they added the felt for the '11 MY.

My 2010 has the felt as well, but I'm not sure if it was done by the shop who did the tint or not.

just had my '10 tinted not too long ago. I didn't mention moleskin to the guy doing the job. The top interior squeegees are still stock on mine (i.e. the tinter did NOT add mole skin to them). There's another set of squeegees inside the door panel, but I haven't pulled the panel off to see if he mole-skinned those.

I roll my windows down everyday, and i have no scratches yet...

'11 here, tinted.

Inquired about moleskins, was told not necessary.

Whole summer of windows rolling up and down, no scratch. The felt that is already there is sufficient.

I have a 2010 sportback ralliart

Having my windows tinted and rolling up and down I have a scratch line on passenger front about 2" from rear of window whole way. And now it appears that the drivers side is doing something also.

I can't feel anything that would do this so it must be inside the door, is my guess. I will be talking to them about my tint and hopefully they will fix it for free.
