From a performance standpoint, stretching a tire too far actually loses the purpose of running wide wheels, which is to be able to run wider tires and increase contact area/traction; but if you like the way it looks and don't plan on taking the car to the track on a regular basis, then go for it.
I agree! I don't mind people's opinion, I love input and to see what people think. At the end I will make the decision that I need to make.

I was looking around and saw that 255-275 is a normal size for a 9.5 wide rims?

I'm having a hard time finding wheel places that have 18x9.5" wide tires here. So I only been able to test what I can. I'm still checking all the places here and so far no luck :-(

PULLEY UPDATE!!!

So I followed what they did here:
http://www.evoxforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=67410
My tensioner pulley was bad, but I'm glad I replaced all 3 of them. It took me 1hr 15mins to complete the job and reused the OEM belt since I just replaced the belt about 3 weeks ago. The new pulleys are real nice! I got the copper washer from lowes and the pulleys from http://www.dealerdirectparts.com/201...cpe-2.0t-2.htm which is the cheapest I could find.

Now the OEM pulley do have a back shield, you don't need them with the new pulleys.

When I get a chance I will take pictures of my old pulleys but they look similar to the ones posted in evoxforum

Borla Catback Exhaust w/ UR DP and HFC!

I have to say it sounds freaking amazing! I just love turning on my car and hearin the nice deep tone it gives. So I drove it all day and man when u give it gas it really comes alive. It looks amazing and when I get on the computer on monday I will upload a photo of how it looks.

Now there are some cons to it which I will call Borla and see what they recommend. I'm not a morning person so I think it's just a little to loud but it's fixable, the other thing is the drone it has at 60Mph, It loves to be at 80mph. I was talking to the exhaust place and he recommended a resonator but before I do that I will call Borla and see what they say! So besides that it sounds amazing! If I can get those 2 issues fixed it would be awesome! I will keep everyone posted on how it goes!

Good to know! I'm getting close to 30k and was dreading paying for the over priced Mitsu gold.

Used Pentosin FFL-2, sent to Mitsubishi to test. Mitsu happy with it. That IS interesting.

What would be a good size tire for a 18"x9.5" rims?

GREAT NEWS!!!

Well my insurance has decided to cover my transmission! So I'm trying to see what is the best plan of attack is and what the insurance will allow me to do when I get it fixed! I'm waiting on the adjuster now to get back with me so I can get this rolling!

If it goes the way I would want it that means 600 hp clutch upgrade and much more.

This will mean FP BB Red and ETS tubular manifold will also be going in :-) with future plans of a engine rebuilt right here at home.

For those who have transmission issues like I have then you should call your insurance and explain to the all the information. I had to give my insurance proof of purchase, all maintenance done by me, they called the 2 dealers I went to, and mitsubishi HQ. Once they did all this then they made the decision to cover the issue. I did nothing special but call them and explain to them my situation and they did their own investigation into it.
