Hurricane Sandy AfterMath
As you know... Sandy screw us all in the East Coast...Specially here at NYC...
plus the damage made it to our houses, cars and so on... there is a particular issue...................NO GAS!!!! NO GAS!!!! NO GAS!!!NO GAS!!!!.. and if you are lucky and get some after 3 or 4 hour in line... there just 87 oct..., NO 91oct, No 93oct..
So I want to start a Thread so we can add the gas station where we can find GAS in NYC..... least 91 oct gas... or 93...
P.S Im Running on 87 now.... the cars runs like ****!! If you know about gas station on Queens... let me know

Open this up to anywhere in the northeast...I cant find any on long island and no gas stations are picking up phones to answer questions. I'm lucky in that I have almost a full tank but this will also help a lot of people. Last I got gas was from a Shamrock gas station on rt 454 in Bohemia that had 93. I will keep this updated as I find out more information. There is also gasbuddy.com but I don't know how accurate it is, but worth a try
I'm on long island. Got gas today in comack. I would leave ur house at 12-3 in the am and find one. That is how I didn't wait in line... sucks I know. Also I just got power today, just to lose it 2 hours ago. This sucks
Sucks to hear hope you guys out there get back the good stuff soon. I know they are talking about it in the Evo thread and saying its cool if you stay out of boost. If that were to happen here I just wouldnt drive my car. I have no idea how to stay out of boost without going more than 20mph
If you're in the Queens/Nassau area of town there's a Shell just over the Nassau Border (near Great Neck/Lake Success) that I was able to get 93 from last Saturday. I think I got in line a little before 6am and had gas by 9:30am. No idea what the situation is like now though, as that was the last time I filled up.
God bless everyone who had to deal with this storm. I'm selling a lot of things off my x because of it. I just received power yesterday, still have it for now. Hope. Everyone gets power back ASAP. Gas in northern jersey is starting to get a bit easier to get but they have a license plate rule for who can and can't get gas. Basically odd numbers go one day and evens go another
