7440 bulb sockets

I'm upgrading my car's turn signals to LED's and I don't want to splice up the car's wiring for warranty reasons. I purchased a set of LED decoders that work but the plug at the end doesn't fit either the OEM or aftermarket LED tail light housings I have. Mitsubishi seems to use a three sided wedge 7440 socket. Mitsubishi dealer says I can't just buy the sockets and that I'd need to get the whole wiring harness which is cost prohibitive. Does anyone know where I can buy Mitsubishi style 7440 bulb sockets (orange/beige)? I want to chop off the non-fitting sockets and splice in the correct Mitsubishi style ones.

The black end plugs into the existing socket...which would be fine if the grey end matched the Mitsubishi end, but it doesn't unfortunately. What I'd like to do is buy the Mitsubishi wedge style sockets so that I can modify the LED adapters rather than the car's wiring harness (as tempting as it is to just hack off the oem socket and splice in the adapter). I've searched other mfr sockets and overseas suppliers of various parts and can't find anything that even resembles the oem sockets.

Edit: After a little plastic trimming and work on the locking pins w/ original rubber gaskets everything fits together perfectly. Now to do the same for the front turn signals and reverse LED's.
