I believe the estimated tienm required by the dealer is 2.1 hours or at least that is what I was told. I was in contact with fred bean autoparts which is fredbeanparts.com. They said they would ship to me in Canada for around 1800 puls shipping. Just make sure of your part number. When you call or e-mail have your vin ready so they can confirm proper part number for you. The number I had found online ended in a 5 but the local parts guy says it now ends in 6.

Exactly. Dont have to freak out anymore guys because of this stupidly designed acd pump. It can be fixed by getting the acd rebuild kit from the acd-tuning. It's mostly broken seals that's why the pump couldnt build up enough pressure caused by dirt especially those that experience harsh winter.

If your acd pump is not functioning properly, it shouldnt break your transfer case. It just annoys you due to the warning light and your drivetrain system is like operating at tarmac all the time or it's like a normal differential.

I just had my pump replaced by the stealership last May when I bought the car (used, 2009). First it flashed the service required and wouldn't allow to change modes. Now it just flashes the little reference icon on the top of the screen. From the last online research I did, it doesn't always mean your pump is dying. The fluids tend to thicken with cold weather and it takes a while to warm up. During that warm up period the AWC settings won't be able to change, much in the same way the computer will prevent you from putting immediate stress on the turbo by squelching "sport" mode on the TC SST. Once the car warms up, the AWC will be accessible again. After a few minutes, sport mode will also re engage. Depends how cold it is. I was told this is pretty normal for cold weather.

yah that's what i was hoping for but i went to the dealership and told them my tarmac light was flashing.. they hooked it up to the computer and gave me the code of C161.

so unless they are scamming me by just assuming it's that code and making me pay more it backed fired on them anyway cause i'm not doing it there.. regardless i'd rather rebuild it
