So I had the AWD pump replaced in my car about 3 weeks ago. The car only has about 55k on it. After driving it back from the dealer i noticed it sometimes knocks when coming to a stop. Anyone ever had this before? the sound is coming from the rear of the car. It doesn't happen all the time only random. At first I thought it was air in the new lines for the pump they put in but 3 weeks later it's still doing it.

I have a 09 Lancer Ralliart.

maybe they didn't bolt something back up when they replaced the pump back there.

 

Yeah go back to the dealer and tell them your are having issues after they did the work.
