Yes another warranty question
Yes another warranty question
I know how
is with there warranty and mods, but im done with there 3yr./36,000 warranty. Anybody have any issues with mods and 3rd party extended warranty? I have interstate extended warranty and they are clueless about the RA and EVO's. I just had the AWC pump replaced on my car and they were fighting with
saying that
should cover it cause lancers have a 10 yr./100000 warranty. If that was the case why would i have gotten a 10 yr./100000 extended warranty from them
. Just wondering if i lost the tranny if they would fight it and ask if the ecu had been reflashed or other mods have been done like
does.

I have a third party warranty as well only because I'm superstitious. When I buy one I seem to never have major problems with that car..when I don't buy one I end up having issues.
But if you have mods done it's always a good idea to keep original parts.
Wheels and suspension parts I would not worry to much about about.
But if you have engine /transmission issues in the future I would swap back oem parts like DP, straight pipes, engine mods, etc and make sure you flash it back to stock before bringing it into Mitsubishi for 1st or 3rd party coverage. Those companies still rely on Mitsubishi for diagnostic reports and cost of parts and labor. These companies already have a relationship with the dealerships as they are most likley the ones who sold you that ext warranty to begin with.
