Intercooler piping

I don't want to mod my car too much so I want to keep the stock intercooler and all, but I do want to replace the intercooler piping. What piping do you guys recommend for that? Also, with just an aFe drop in filter and new piping, do I really need a tune or will the car handle those two mods without it? Thanks

Why don't you just get a stock evo x intercooler? They arnt that expensive and that opens up more options of UICP you can pick from

That's a BIG mistake. Do the the Intercooler AND the pipes or do NOTHING at all. Just doing the pipes by themselves drains only your wallet and does basically nothing at all to benefit the car or your driving experience.....

Yeah, I guess I might end up going with the Evo X intercooler

If you plan on upgrading the RA. Ditch the factory intercooler.

The shorter the better, get a bigger FMIC for sure. You'll understand at the top of third into 4th.

Yeah, thanks for the insight. If/when I upgrade, I'll upgrade the whole system, not just the upper pipe. But I assume with an upgraded intercooler system, I should get a tune done, yes?

There are some people that push for a tune with almost any mod, but IC/pipes are pretty safe to run without a tune. A tune would still help to optimize performance though, so you should just do it if you can.
