Cel p0134
Cel p0134
I am receiving a P0134 CEL. The scan stated 02 sensor, no activity, bank 1, sensor 1. I am taking this to the dealer on Saturday to get replaced. The only mods I have are the Ultimate Racing Upper Intercooler Piping and a K & N filter. Would the UICP mod have anything to do with the CEL? I just wanted to know so I know whether or not to change it back to the stock piping.
change it back to stock and find out. I know people were having problems with the UR intake throwing a cel im not sure about the intercooler piping. either way if you take it to the dealer you should put it back to stock, things will just be much easier this way.

Does not sound like it has anything to do with your UICP or drop-in filter, so the dealer *should* not have a problem with your mods, but there is no guarantees of course as some are worse than others.

You might have an electrical issue or your front 02 sensor is damaged. Best way to check if you really need to get it replaced or not is to unplug it and do a volt test. Should be around 6 ohms. The harness for the 02 sensor is behind a panel in the passenger side on the left.
edit.
Another check you can do is if you can find a local tuner to check out your fuel trims.

I always use 93 Octane. The funny thing is that when I turned the car on this morning, the CEL was gone. The only thing I can think of was that when I put gas in the car Sunday night, I didn't turn the gas cap until it clicked. When the CEL came on Monday morning, the first thing I did was unscrew the cap and put it back on until it clicked. I know that not tightening the gas cap will possibly throw a CEL, but why would the code show up stating that it was an O2 sensor?

HMMM thats true. I also use 93 octane and I go to specific gas stations. If it was the gas cap there would be a code saying EVAP large leak something like that. Maybe the gas on that day had some water but still why would it cause a fualty 02 sensor. Try clearing the code and if its serious the same code would come up again.
