Questions about finally starting the mods

Finally decided to start modding my 2010 Ralliart, but i have some questions before i click the buy button on some sites.

Does it matter if the brand types of parts are different? For instance if i get an ams intercooler but i get an injen upper cooler pipe? Or if i get an ams intercooler/injen intake/borla exhaust will all these different brands be okay for my car?

What are peoples opinions on the best exhaust? (been looking at a Borla Cat Back?)

What are people opinions on the best cold air intake? (been looking at injen or ams?)

Any feedback helps thanks

No, Im running an AMS intercooler w/ AMS uicp & Ultimate Racing licp. Im also running an AMS catback w/ Boostin Performances high flow cat & Ultimate Racing downpipe.

What are peoples opinions on the best exhaust?
Everyone willl tell you the best is what they are running. They all work well. Youtube them and decide which one looks the best to you and get what you decide. I run the AMS single which is no longer made or sold.

Same thing here. The intake wont exactly help with a gain in hp. Im running the Ultimate Racing intake and it sounds good when getting into boost. A tune is necessary immediately after an intake install.

PM places like lancershop through here and they will most likely give you a deal on pricing. Dont just go and order parts from a website, talk to those places first.

Being from Canada... May i recommend trying to get most your parts from Canadian sites to save on the devil himself (Customs)

Ultimate Racing - Great for a lot of Ralliart parts such as (Exhaust, Intercooler) great welds.
Touge Tuning- A lot of COBB gear and a few others

Gonna have to agree with him. Sure I'm running some Ultimate racing stuff, but I mainly didn't want to deal with customs. The quality is a bonus

What do you think of it? The UR stuff? Do you like the sound of their exhaust? I'm looking for something but don't want loud or Honda like raspy sound! I want deep tone and kinda mellow unless u get into it hard! You have the catback I was looking at but just gonna do turbo back w/highflow cat!
Have a good vid by chance?

The Magnaflow cat-back is very close to what you are looking for. It's fairly quiet while cruising at lower RPM, but sounds pretty mean when you step on it. Any downpipe and cat should work fine with it (UR and Turbo XS are good options).

Don't put on an intake unless you are getting a tune.

Yeah I was thinking that as well but I think the UR would flow better since it is without that huge like 90* bend just before the muffler.

The cat-back's flow isn't really essential for making power with basic mods. High-flow cat is the most important.

It's great very rumbly at low revs, very throaty with some power. I'm 100% satisfied. And it's pretty "customizable" in terms of how much noise you want. Can get either the straight catback which is loudest, or you can add a Resonator or Mini-muffler or Both. I have both and it's tamer in terms of volume, but the actual sound doesn't really change which is great

Actually I recently threw 2 gopro's on the car for a test. Audio is from exhaust only, but obviously still sounds better in real life
