You could stick with your oem intake with a panel filter and get an adapter from RRE so you don't have to relocate it

In order for the admins to approve you to the group make your profile picture or cover photo your RA. They're very strict on who enters to keep things platform specified to the RA

Ah ic. Well would be a waste not to use it I guess. I'm going to be running the AEM intake with the RRE adapter. I just got my turbo back from being built. I'm shooting for the 400 range.

Do you know how much the adapter is? I just emailed them hopefully they can ship me one. If so I will just buy the aem intake and try to sell the CBRD one. I wanted the AEM one from the beginning.

I want to say about $140ish with shipping. There's a guy in Chicago selling his AEM intake right now on FB also in one of the other groups.

Anyone know what causes these manifolds to crack? It seems like a fair number of them are cracking based on posts here.

Just rapid heating and cooling of the metal. Wrapping them or ceramic coating helps but most on the stock manifold don't bother and just upgrade turbos when the time comes

1. Thermal cycling (as stated above).
2. The manifold helps support the turbo and downpipe on the RA - and not strong enough to do it evidently...
