No clue , need help

New to this and Just picked up a 2010 White Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart and I've had it about a month now only 59k miles and drives amazing , but past couple of days ive been notcing some weird stuff that when i go from reverse to drive it makes a loud clunk noise and the car almost feels like it wants to turn off on me , would appreciate any and all feedback to help diagnose this before it becomes a big problem for me , thank you

Have you checked the cars history report? You would need to make sure the previous owner changed the SST fluid properly. I want to say 30k miles it should have been changed but I know a lot of people who drive hard change it sooner than 30. I have a 2009 with 120000 miles and had a full service history. It has given me zero issues and I believe its because the car was properly maintained.

Do you have any type of live OBD2 scanner that you can connect to the car to log while trying the same thing?

I'll paraphrase the 90 threads that are out there about the SST's(it can be hard to glean good info out of them)
Consistent Maintenance
SST fluid and Filter every 30k if you just daily it...if you autoX or roadrace, you may wanna think of 20k or sooner. Avoid Brake stand launches, if you flash the S-Sport and Launch Control, You gain a little more frequency but all in all still avoid it unless you need it.
