Just bought a couple things from Ultimate Racing

I'm very excited because I just bought the TiAL Blow-Off Valve Kit and the Short Ram Intake from Ultimate Racing. It should all arrive to me on Friday and I will install it over the weekend along with my HID kit. Any tips I should know when installing the Blow-Off Valve Kit? Or anything else for that matter?

you need a tune for the intake. or else your car wont be running at its full potential.
As for the BOV, make sure its set for full recirc. anything else is just for show and youll be leaking boost. not good. and for your HIDS if you dont have projectors they may **** some ppl off on the road, and the wont look as crisp as with projectors.

I got an aftermarket hid kit in mine without projectors no problems at all. Looks good, but I agree it could have been better.

I would also have to recommend the full recirculation of the BOV and tune after you install this stuff. Esp if you dont full recirc your car will likely run like poo poo.

Is that really true? Because I know that this Blow Off Valve is not set to full recirc, it is set to No Recirc at all. Also, Ultimate Racing told me that I won't need a tune if I use their Short Ram Intake...

IMO i dont think non-recirc BOV are needed unless u are pushin crazy power. Better to do recirc if ur pretty much stock. Ultimate Racing told me the same thing, they said that the car runs rich from the factory and their intake specifically was made to lean the car out and also it come with its own MAF sensor.

nothing against UR, but intakes usually require tunes, thats alot more air sucking in. But doing full recirc on your BOV is always a good idea. you cant set it up to vent to atomosphere if you want, but yoour car will lose a little boost.

If you plan on doing things to your car, do em the right way. if not..kiss your warranty good bye and expect some tranny mishaps. This car has a really sensitive tranny since the tcu and ecu react with one another. so be advised.

happy modding.
