Power Loss?

So i've been driving my RA lately and it has about 500 miles on it... Either ive gotten really used to how the car pulls or it somhow lost its power. Normally i used to feel a huge pull around 3000 RPMs but now i don't feel that big pull.

Has anyone else noticed this, am i crazy for thinking my car has lost power?

Also when i turn on the car and start moving i have that crunching noise as if im running over a water bottle, ive heard a lot of people have this issue as well. is this normal? ivee seen a thread or two but not sure if anything in my car is ****ed.

Should i get it checked out you think?

You're probably just getting used to the power.

Thats when the modding bug bites you. I was bummed when it hit me to. The crunching noise is a new one on me. Are you talking about the transmission clunk when it is first goes into gear out of the driveway?

The New GTR does the same thing. It is the Gears engaging for when your about to set out during the day. That is why there is a delay when you turn off the car after you have been out. It is so the gears can disengage. Just let the car warm up if you have the time in the morning or for that matter dont get to spirited for at least 10 min when you set out so that temps are at ideal settings. You will notice the car doesn't jerk as much once it warms up.

yeah definitely have to give it time, or take it easy on it until it warms up a tad.

As for the power thing, yeah same thing happened to me. Either i drive my mom's car to be like "oh yeahhhhh, that's what it used to be like" or i start looking into modding. lol

Same happened to me, stopped feeling quick, but everyone who I let drive it thought it was very quick. Then I flashed it and it felt really quick, I KNOW it's the same now as when I flashed it just gradually you get accustomed to the power, to the point it feels less then it use to.

I've been complaining about my car being slow also, I feel as if the car is almost as slow as stock right now since I flashed it... so I had to dyno it and eventually it was 247 horses at the wheels.... so the whole feeling slow thing got me also but I knew it had to do with getting used to the power.... now I think my car is slow and I'm going to mod the **** out of it

Same goes for everything in life pretty much. Try not masturbating or having sex for about a month. You'd be surprised how your view on what's attractive changes. It truly brings out the inner beast. Rawr.

We're talking about engine performance, not drive lines.
