Hey Bryan,

I have the USDM 09, if I take the USDM V2 93 w/bp map and put the same afr, timing and other settings from the USDM V1 91 w/o bp will it work?

I can't wait to see the benefits from the V2.

Thx

Yes, there are some overall SST tweaks in V2.

No XML is available for the public yet for various reasons, the main reason is we are still figuring it all out.

You guys get the benefit that I own a RA now so I get to do exhaustive testing. I think you guys can see the benefits of this with V2.

Thanks for the update Bryan!

Are the SST tweaks in the WOT shifting or just in the drivability at this point? I noticed the tweaks to the lower bound timing tables which i know for a fact helps the firm feel of a shift.. Just didnt know if you actually tweaked the SST for WOT shifts or holding more power as well. Do let us know!!

PS. Your the man for offering this to everyone! This will for sure bring in business... heck i have already tried to give you mine

Important! Please Read!

Bryan,

We flashed my '10 Ralliart Sportback two days ago and I had to revert back to the v1 flash today. The shifting became very sluggish at part and full throttle. The best way I can describe it is the car felt like it was "holding" each gear while shifting. The fast shifts I experienced with your v1 flash had totally disappeared. I had the problem in Normal and Sport in both auto and manual modes. After the reflash to v1, everything is OK. Please let us know what might be the cause of this.

Thanks for all your effort!

Sean

I have not noticed any hang while shifting. My mods are in my sig. But I have only driven about 50 miles since I flashed to 93 oct V2+ bp. I will do some testing and post back later tonight or tomorrow.

Hey Bryan, will the 2010 USDM 91 Oct w/ Boost Pill ver 2 Baseflash work on the 2009 USDM RA or will I need the 2009 specific flash?

If I will need the 2009 specific flash, is there any ETA on when it will be available?

Thanks again for the awesome work you do for us!
If I lived near you guys in CA I would seriously buy you all a beer!

Tried this version 2 base map with boost pill tonight. Really sick GST. The transition for each gear really smooth and was alot faster in picking up speed had to control myself. Felt alot faster and better than the version 1.

Experiencing the same as alien..

After spending about an hour trying to see if I was experiencing the same problem as alien. I am. I tried all different combinations.

Off the line sport and normal mode 100% throttle - while shifting from 2nd to 3rd, 3rd to 4th it hangs than drops rpm, pauses and starts going again. Also did this shifting from 4th to 5th.

Normal mode 3rd 50% throttle - Same thing, still hangs around 3-4k. Its like its already in 5th but lcd display shows 4th for a couple seconds.

Sport mode 50 % throttle - did not hang at all.

After trying all different pulls at 25% 50% 75% and 100% throttle, I now notice that I am experiencing the same issues as alien. I will be flashing back to the 2009 RA 93 oct + bp V1 Map till we can figure this out.

My current mods are works drop in, ams single catback and ams boost pill. I did not have this issue with the V1 93 oct maps both boost pill and stock pill. Normal driving with V2 93 bp seemed perfectly fine. Im sure thats why I did not notice. Havent had a chance to really get on it after the flash.

If there is any thing you would like me to do Bryan, please let me know. I am more then willing to help!!

After I get some food in me (just got off work) im going to take a vid and post it for a better understanding of whats happening....

Here is a quick video of what has been happening. Sorry about the quality. You can definitely hear the shift hang. My finances sister was in the backseat filming and my RA has too much power now!!! She wasn't able to hold the camera steady lol

Hopefully this helps

After this description I think Im getting the same issue. Originally I thought it was just falling out of boost/power band that was causing the pause in acceleration.

I generally feel it when leaving work. Long straight 2 lane road w/45mph speed limit. I generally dont floor it but Ill get on it. Around the 3-4 shift Ill get a lul or pause in the acceleration. I cant remember if its right before or right after the shift.

Can we run logs to show what this issue is on "paper"?

Mods are only a K&N and Im running the 2010 93 V2 with stock pill

They don't need people to know or they don't need to tell you.
They tune your car and you feel the difference right away.
Exactly like you did for V2, almost everyone noticed a difference in shifting, yes lower bound timing table play a role but SST does as well.
That's part of the reason why people go to shop A rather then shop B.

If you try a friend car with V1 and another friend car with V2, you'll probably be asking who the hell did the car with V2 and bring your car to him.

They are better to hold off on those table then having a bunch of people crying on public forum that they broke something in the their tranny and that ECUFlash is a piece of crap. I'm sure you know how people can be.
