As soon as I get my car back from the dealer Ill get this flash uploaded and let you know what I get.
You can always look at the file names to see what the latest is. I always put the date on the end of them

I wasn't getting the shifting issue constantly before, but I didn't get it at all tonight. Although, shifts (specifically 3-4) did seem to be slower, but this may just be due to it being a long day and being a little tired.

Ill be able to tell better tomorrow how everything is working, and hopefully some of the more experienced people can chime in on what they think with the new file.
As others have said, thanks for all the hard work you put into this and I cant wait to get my boost pill (hint hint) and move up to the other map
Ok so your problems are just in the auto modes? Same issue where it hangs or is it more like it takes each gear higher in the RPM before it shifts?

The gear change is hanging. It feels like the trans disengages the current gear, holds the RPMs for a second or so, then goes to the next gear.
FWIW, I ended up reloading the factory map for now, and the problem is gone.
I know with some time and tweaking, this is going to be a great map. I look forward to seeing what you do with it.

I have to bow out of this for the time being. I realized today that since the Sportback is my only car at the moment, and I run my IT business with it, I should be a bit more careful what I am doing. Besides there are lots of others that are testing it for you.
Let me say, again, how much we appreciate what you are doing. Its also amazing how fast you respond to posts here considering you arent charging for your time.

Ok, so I got the shift issue in a bit of a different form tonight. Leaving work, which is where I normally feel the issue, i got a pretty strong "shudder" on the 2-3 or 3-4 shift (i cant remember which). Its almost like it went from 2-3-2-3 in about 1 second.
For me it seems like it only happens right after I leave work. Is it possible this could be something that only happens when the car is cold? Is the map any different on start up before the car gets warmed up?
This is the 2010 USDM 93 V2 Beta 2 Map, with only a K&N filter. Im going to switch back to V1 until something new comes out.

Hello all. I was wondering if there was a HOW TO - for installing the Tactrix cable and reflashing the ECU using the GST basemaps? Any help on where the cables go would be greatly appreciated.!
Is it safe to say that the V1 base map 93 oct. is a safe flash at the moment? I have zero mods done at the moment but I am ordering the boost pill before the flash is done. Thank you very much GST!!!




Can't try them out yet... I'll try to get the cable back before i go to the track.
