Yep. Everytime you read or write the ecu loses communication with the tcu. Its all good. Just use ecuflash to clear dtc's and your good to go.

Using the V2 he issue is in Auto-Normal and 50% throttle. I don't have any problems with partial and WOT.
The gears that does this is in 2nd to 3rd, and 3rd to 4th. It happens way more often in 3rd to 4th.

Bryan,

I just wanted to be clear that I am having no shifting issues whatsoever on the V1 map. I see some folks are posting that they are. I went back to the factory map and everything is fine, HOWEVER, I will be putting the V1 map back in because I cant stand the lack of power without it. Where I really notice it is in the higher RPMs.

The slow gear changes are a bit different in each mode. Are you not having these issues with your Sportback? Seems like since we have the same cars, you would be experiencing it too. Weird.

I took the car out using the 2009 CAD basemap + boost pill V2. There is a HUGE difference in power, as well as, the shifts. The shifts seems smoother. I really notice a change in higher RPMS. Which is great. As for the lag in shifting i have not noticed yet. I drove for a good 2 hours both WOT and slow (25-50%). The down shifting is much smoother as well. The car seems to like the upgrade.!

I have noticed shift slurring with the V2 in 2nd - 3rd shifts in Auto mode at about 50-70% throttle.

I do not notice the issue in sport mode.

I'm not having the issue in Sport Manual which I drive in most of the time.

Apparantly I don't drive my RA enough in Normal or Sport Auto. I drove it to and from the shop today in Normal mode and I saw some of the issues you guys are describing.

I'll be looking into it.

With the V2 map i feel the engine is louder and i can feel it more. As for the shifting i have had NO issues in sport manual. One issue in normal auto from3-4 gear. But i really only drive with sport mode so it suits me quite well.

Using V2 2010 AUS Stock pill , no noticable shifting issues, Much more top end , most noticable 3rd, 4th gear pulls. Car is driven in Sport and Manual mode only. (I don't drive in AUTO or normal).

Bryan, I have a question. My stock RA as u know will bounce when the revs are maxed at 6,500. With this V2 upgrade when i was pushing my car would reach 7,000 with no bounce. I usually dont ever run my car this hard but wanted to test the new map. Were u able to to that on you RA?

The V1 and V2 basemaps raise the rev limiter setting a tad bit higher 7,000 rpm. The stock setting is set to roughly 6,800 rpm.

I can't say that the engine is louder due to the tune, but with the tune that I am running, which is based off the V1 basemap, the car definitely pulls harder than the stock tune.

I definitely can't wait to see what the difference is with the V2 basemap once they are posted!

Bryan has done an excellent job with these tunes.

V1 = 7156 rev limiter

V2 = 7156 rev limiter

OEM = 6800 rev limiter
