brian, any progress with the s-sport lately? attempts even? i realize you're busy keeping up with all the free stuff you've been giving us, which is awesome and far more than we could ever ask for, but i think we all want launch mode real real bad...

Original 2009 93 oct + bp V2 Map.

1. What modes you are seeing the issue in

Only in Normal Auto Mode. Sport mode shifts great in manual and auto. Also shifts fine in Normal Manual mode.

2. What throttle points are worse then others (ex. part throttle, half throttle, WOT)

Mostly happens at Part and Half Throttle.

3. What gears, if any, are different shifting then others..

Seems to mostly happen shifting from 3rd to 4th at around 4k rpm.

Thanks

- Bryan
Since I have not been experiencing any issues with the 2009 93 oct V2 map while in Sport Manual mode I am going to continue running this map for a while till something else is posted. But only driving in sport manual mode. Its funner that way!

S-Sport mode would be amazing! AWD off the line burnouts on the RA would be great! I am sure its being worked on and is for sure possible. In time and hopefully sooner than later .

Ty ty ty Bryan & GST! I just tried out the 93 octane stock boost pill map 2009 and it makes a world of difference. Pulls much harder and smoother! Now for the next thing on my mods list....

Get the GST one. Encourage GST for allowing you to get this basemap for free.

I would recommend buying the GST boost pill because they are supplying free maps. I have the AMS boost pill and I believe a boost is a boost pill. Its just there to help prevent overboost for our SST.

+1. it's only a few bucks to give gst some business. if you're going to run a free tune, the least you can do to give back to the tuner is buy their product to go along with it. ur is a great company, dont get me wrong, but i didnt get a free tune out of them when i bought their LICP...just sayin

I was looking for the Ralliart section on the GST website, but I couldn't track it down.

So I just searched for Boost Pill with the search function and there are 2 items that popped up. Are those Boost Pills for Ralliart?

Also, I after running the maps, does it take effect right away or do I need to drive it around for a bit for the ECU to "learn" it?

Thanks in advance for the replies.

And Thank you Bryan for everything.

The boost pills on GST's website will work in both the 09+ Ralliart and Evo X. Once you install the Boost Pill and flash the ECU with the appropriate basemap, you will notice the difference immediately.

Yes the boost pill is the same for the Evo 8/9/10/RA

We are currently having an issue with online ordering through the site so call the shop to place the order.

There is no learning process, it's flash and go.

Thank you for the respond.

For someone that hasn't done this before, how challenging can this be?

If you are mechanically inclined, it is fairly easy. It took about 30 minutes to change out the boost pill and 2-3 minutes, if that long, to do the flash. Assuming of course that you have a laptop w/ ECUflash installed and a Tactrix cable.

Awesome. Thanks for the details.

Now to find a Tactrix Cable...

If I were to add a Drop-In filter, would that affect anything?

For example, lets say I added a Drop-In Filter to a completely stock RA, do I need to get a tune?
