I believe in Australia they use a RON rating and so you would us the 93 Octane map based on what I've seen. In North America, we use AKI rating which is (RON + MON)/2. I can't find any legitimate sources(wiki and forum posts don't count) in the 5 minutes I looked, but the ones I've seen(3-5 sources) says that you will use the 93 Octane map provided by GST and Brian.

Where I can find out whether my car is 2009 or 2010 model??
It is registered december at 2009 but when it is made??
Some manufacturers starts to produce next year models earlier at the year...
So I want to know which basemap is correct for my car 2009 or 2010.
Thanks!

Most cars have the manufactured date inside the door jam. I haven't checked, but it's a good place to start if you wanted to know.

Another Aussie...

If you haven't already found it, check out the info I put together when I was an inexperienced dummy...

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/09...f-dummies.html

Now I'm a slightly more experienced dummy - so that much more dangerous.

Match up your stock ECU ROMID to the equivalent one from Bryan-GST's base maps. So replace like for like.

For example, after reading my original ROM, I could see in EcuFlash that its ROMID was 53610010. That lined up with the ROMID shown in the GST Base Maps stamped as "2009 AUDM/EDM" - also 53610010.

Think I may be running rich but I've noticed some black residue on my chrome exhaust tips. Gonna check for boost leak but I can't imagine that being it since the Incredible Hulk couldn't separate the couplings on my APT UICP or AMS BPV if he wanted too. Think it could also be the 93 octane in Mississippi? I get my gas from Sam's Club gas station because it's the lowest price 93 octane in the area if you are a member. I was already planning to by I wideband in the future but that maybe sooner than later.

It is super easy to do. I was apprehensive at first but got more comfortable once I realized I didn't fry my ecu and felt the new power lol.

I think it's normal even with the GST tune. I get it too.

Bah! Ran Evoscan on a 0-90 run and saw boost top out at 17.6 PSIG. Started logging from 1st gear in Sport/Manual though 4th. Sound right?

Update: After a 27 oz bottle of extra soapy water, no leaks found. Connections are tighter than Jay-Z and Beyonce. Hrmmm. Did Evoscan read the data wrong?
