Yup that is correct

 

Just to make sure Im doing this right all I have to do is download the maps and save them. It opens in notepad after I save it. And then I just open that file in ecuflash and then flash the ecu.

 

am i ok to use the boostpill and this, with a k&n drop in?

 

im running a boost pill with the v2 flash and a k&n drop in with no problems.. all i can say is my boost gauge only goes to 25 psi and i peg that baby...

I just got retuned friday, so bad luck for me...

were there some performance updates to this rom or was it just to fix that cold start CEL that some of us have been getting? (me included which is why I'm interested)

Excellent! Are there new tweaks related to TC-SST behind the scenes? If so, I'll want to grab your new ROM and migrate my changed tables over to it (boost, fuel, spark). That sound like a sensible approach?

Just got back from Ice Racing in mid Colorado. Took the girlfriends STI. Would have taken my car but was afraid of what could have happened with 2nd gear's problem.

Got home checked the thread. flashed the car and went for a drive. All gears feel like they engage correctly now!!! Sports mode - auto, isnt scary to drive in anymore. w00t w00t!!!
