ordered it on Wednesday January 26th...arrived today Monday 1/31. I was assuming I would have to run the stock pill rom for a little while until it showed up. I knew my tactrix cable was delivered today, but you can imagine how happy I was to see the GST boost pill laying on the table when I got home.

Thanks GST!!!

Congrats! I'm glad you didn't have to wait a couple of weeks like some of us.

My initial impressions are very postive! The shifts seem a little bit crisper but very smooth. I did both auto and manual mode in normal. The first thing I noticed was the start up. I don't know if is just me but the car seemed to start up nice and strong, not having to struggle at all. Hopefully that is part of the new map.

I really appreciate your hard work Bryan. Makes me enjoy my car even more!

Thanks Brian! I'm heading out to flash the new basemap now, and there should be a gift for ya in your paypal account. Hopefully everyone else does the same, you surely deserve it.

I think it's a very BAD idea to be pushing the car hard in Auto-Normal mode if that's what you were doing. From everything I've read, that's really hard on the transmission

GST Version 2.5 Boost Pill...

Lovely SST shifts.

And thanks for the disabling of "LTFT affects WOT mixtures" - was going to do that one myself!

Oh, no, that's just frightening.

I offer my apologies to anyone who is (was) eating while perusing this thread.

We are in the midst of an ice storm in my neck of the woods, which hindered me from installing the boost pill last night, but I still had to get something going. So my first flash happens to be the New V2.5 ('09US, 93oct + Stock Pill), but the roads aren't conducive for pushing the car at all today, so I can't comment on power gains really, but still an overall different car. The SST is reacting beautifully, and while you guys are noticing more shift shock coming from V2, it's still a world of difference from the stock settings...it just feels so much smoother to me. Can't wait to get the GST BP in

Today will be a good test. It is currently 10-12* F in my area. I will let you know if the CEL comes on after I get off work.

The car sat from 9AM until lunch around 12PM. We are having -3 temps and with wind chill feels around -30. The car started up perfectly with no CEL. However it had a high pitched noise along with it. I started to take off and it sounded like a hum noise. At low speed the noise sounded like the brakes squeeling. As the car warmed up on the way home the noise disappeared. I turned the car off and turned it back on two times and everything was fine.

What do you guys think this was all about?

I wasn't mashing on the gas and highest RPM was around 4K. At moderate throttle though it still shifted very sharp and smooth.
