UICP differences
UICP differences
I would like to know if there's any difference between the two pipe kit and the single upper pipe.
I know injen has one thats just a single pipe up to the stock black pipe.
Most of the other vendors like UR, Bruscher, and AMS has 2 piece kits.
Is there any benefit from the 2 pipes rather than 1?

I think you'll be hard pressed to find any performance differences between ANY of the UICP pieces.
I can see the "beauty" perspective of the one piece units, so if that's your thing, pick the prettiest one and roll with it.
It mostly comes down to what vendor you want to support. If you like Buschur, Buschur UICP. If you like AMS, AMS UICP. If you like men, all hot and oily, waiting for you when you arrive home, ARC UICP.
I know there have been scattered reports of UICPs not fitting, but really, if the manufacturer is bone-stupid enough to not be able to make a damn UICP fit, I have no idea how they even figured out how to mandrel bend the steel in the first place.

Nisei is hit or miss. Let's weld the only bracket on the entire UICP in the wrong spot! Sounds like a great idea!

How the HELL did they mess that up?
Seriously. Is it simply a difference in measurements between cars? Like car X is a little different than car Y, or something like that?
It's like Trojan selling condoms with a gigantic hole in the tip. This isn't rocket science. This is metal pipes, folks. Metal pipes.

Anyways I think I'll go with the injen UICP then. Looks nicer than the ones I've seen and it's the cheapest too.
Thanks
No, ARC isn't "bad". I just have an aversion to paying more than needed without *REASON*, assuming that reason isn't "impressing other people".
I'll fully admit I'm a biased ******* who hates all man kind, and I'm using purely my own opinions in this reasoning, but the primary reason to buy ARC/Coltspeed/whatever is to get bling. The status symbol. I find that attitude repulsive, stupid, and ridiculous, thus I interject mild humor into my commentary on the subject. I also type long sentences where a simple, short, concise sentence would be more than adequate to convey my messages, but I find the long, run on sentences to convey a sense of esteem and knowledge that I truly do not posses.
The Buschur stuff I purchased was not the cheapest; I paid a premium. However, I paid that premium for, in my mind, a good reason; I'll be going to Buschur for all my work, thus, I had a reason to purchase his wares. I'm not going to argue it's a "better" piece; it's stainless steel, it fit, and, umm... it's shiny? There's just not much to it.
