Meoit, I have been talking with Runaround, who is running stage 2 map and happens to be in Plano. He has been talking with Cobb about the RA communities need for some more maps, good man that he is! But, they need to have a car with those mods to start work on OTS maps, so hopefully its just a matter of time. But, good chance we could be thanking Runaround in the future for helping make that happen.
Just a random thought here, but I know if you upgrade your FMIC from the stock RA pos, you dont need to reflash. I would think that if you do get gains from that mod, its solely because you have colder air going to the turbo. So, would we really have to have a map for this mod, right now? I mean, if Cobb came up with a map in the future, it would be sick, but as for running that mod right now, I wonder if it would even be an issue. I have read threads posted by people with other tunes that have upgraded FMIC and they didnt reflash. Someone should talk to Cobb about that.

No it isnt safe at all. You could do what i did and just throw a High flow cat on your RA and then your good to run that map. Cobb has told me, a couple times, that you can run only a high flow cat and be fine running stage 2, just as long as your not tracking the car.

Hey guys, so I finally put on a HFC and am running a stage 2 map now. I have access to 93oct and was running stage 1 93 before. I ran the stage 2 93 for a bit and wasnt too impressed. I switched over to stage 2 91oct and it seems like the car performs a little better. Anyone else experienced this?

this is from travis at Cobb

so theres a possible benifit...

Did my typical drive today between school and home with the econ mod on the AP. So now i have milage for Econ Mode = 28 Stage 1 91 oct 21-23 mpg; and the stock tune 24-26. So the econ mode was much better for fuel economy then there stage one tune, but not much better the the stock tune. Thought there tune was suppose to increase fuel economy over stock.
P.S. Love the power with the stage one tune though good job
