Hopefully you learned that and more, including the procedure we use for tuning an SST Ralliart 2009+ and MR, the best dyno for tuning the Ralliart and what a datalog of a properly tuned Ralliart looks like.

The closest track from your shop is Speed World. I know, because I live in Winter Park (literally 2 miles away). I don't much care what your dynomometer estimates the 1/4 mile time to be (no offense). My navigation unit seems to think that it can do that too.

The dyno is not an estimate as the load and weight is calculated and it reads the same as the dragstrip.

The MPH is always accurate and a 1.97 60' time on a Ralliart is achievable.

My own car trapped 133mph on the dyno and 134mph at the track.

I made my point. I am going to just say enough is enough and walk away.

this is the farthest thing from a quarter mile result. You might as well use a g force or an iphone to determine the trap speed and time of the quarter mile. The car on the tarmac at the track, in a real situation, is the ONLY way to have a legit time.

at the end of the day it wont matter what we say ttp, those who know, know who you are, and thats all that needs to be said. Sure i guess im more open about it then others, and thats okay i guess, but ive been respectful and untrolled thus far, and as much as you try to drag me or NFS into it, im not biting.

you can go ahead and think adding pastic to a boost hose is an advancement in technology
or that your specific tuning methods are superior to EVERYONE ELSES,
or that a dynojet that read HIGHER TEN A MUSTANG, and in history has shown it DOES 99% of the time somehow uses a friction ratio that limits the power it shows, completely ignoring the fact his new tune PUT MORE POWER TO THE GROUND REGARDLESS OF THE DYNO,
and you can think that a customer leaving your shop for another is okay, especially when they cite the fact that your professionalism, overall knowledge, shop atmosphere, and skill were in question and resolved by your competitor,
and lastly my friend, you can go ahead and think a dyno is an accurate measure of a quarter mile ALL YOU WANT.

At the end of the day, we cant control how you think, we can just sit back, and enjoy the show.

but im done arguing, as that was never the intent, as i stated before, is 280 whp achievable? on ttps dyno yes, on ams, awd, and 2 reputable canadian places i know well, no it isnt, for the simple fact they dont balloon the ralliart stock power numbers into the 230's. If i was the OP, rather then look for 280, look for 70 whp gained from stock, see if you can achieve that, because that is a real achievement

My beef is different but is much, much funnier. I would love to get into it. I really would, but I agree with Groundfades. I value my membership to this site.

wow, what a mess this all turned into, lol.

to the op: dont worry about the 280, 300, 450, whatever. all thats going to matter as far as numerically speaking is the before and after. overall gains and track times are the only real numbers that should count. other than that, like somebody else said, the butt dyno is key for someone who just wants a fun daily driver. as long as its got enough oomph to put a smile on your face when you stomp the pedal, who cares about internet bragging rights? how many of us will you ever actually meet? its your car and you only need to worry about enjoying it in the way that matters most to you. good luck on your quest either way you go.

Yes, Groundfades is Secondchace.

Secondchace has actually spend the time required in time out, and was restored automatically.

Whether or not that account will be allowed to stay is going to be left up to someone higher than I, and is not really on topic for this thread.

This thread is now reopened.

Ivey is a good choice...especially since he's local for you. He's a very reputable tuner on EvoM.
