Those figures are based on crank hp and torque, not the wheel hp and torque readings you get from a dyno.

You can do Stage 3 but in order to get the high HP numbers you will want what the other stages have. Stage 3 wont have the exhaust, intercooler, etc.

He's right. Why would you spend $1500.00 to get 305 crank horsepower(which is about 245 wheel horsepower) from AMS when you can get more power than that for about half the price? I have 261 wheel horsepower which is about 325 crank horsepower and all I spent was the following:

1 hour of dynotuning: $250.00
Rear axel-back exhaust: $375.00
UICP: $140.00
Boost pill: $ 20.00
----------------
Grand total: $785.00

FMIC is a pita to install, makes the front look BA though. If you know someone who will help it'd make the job easier. The hardest part (only real challenge) is getting it behind the crash bar on the rubber supports aligned properly, and getting the bolts in. It took me and my best friend a few hours. I need mine repainted, all the salt took the AMS almost completely off of it.

The stage 3 is expensive. You can get a bigger turbo or used X turbo, widemouth DP and a tune for a lot less than that.

edit. Does the stage 3 include an Evo X exhaust manifold? It doesn't say that it's part of the kit.

the power numbers are to the crank i hope you kids realize that

secondly, the stage 3 doesnt specify if it has the manifold, oil lines, and other parts required.

You can re use the stock turbo lines. I had bought new lines for my fp green but during the turbo swap, the stock lines bolted right up.
