There is really nothing WORSE for our country, our climate, or our economy than gasoline.

Ethanol is certainly no panacea, but it can be part of a much broader energy independence solution.

Long term, I think bio-diesel offers the best answer to the transportation liquid fuels question. Ethanol can fill in the gap until bio-diesel becomes a fully developed product.

I totally disagree with this whole concept. Food should be used to feed PEOPLE not cars!

In New Zealand we source ethanol from milk, it's completely a byproduct. Doesn't actually consume any food products.

Someone posted on another thread that USA ethanol is derived from animal feed, not the people food supply.

You can click here to see my results with E85.

To do E85 with the Ralliart you definately need to get a fuel pump and injector change because the stock ones are naturally lubercated by the oil properties in the gas. E85 is alcoholic and has the exact oppisite properties and can deterierate the stock pump and injectors over time.

E85 is amazing though, i love the sweet smell of it and i love how fast it burns. (Faster burning means faster spoll ). If anyone has anyquestions feel free to ask. My car is heavily modified.

When i was at MAPerformance, my car made close to 385 tq but the tranny started slipping. So the link about is the most i could get out of my car with the limiting factor of my tranny. (Jordan pulled up dyno sheets of Evo X Gsr with similar mods and it made 385hp/375tq, so i know it can make more, i just need to do a manual swap when i get back from my deployment)

I dont think the corn they use to make ethanol is even the edible kind.

Really more correct should be they should be growing food instead of fuel. Then again the people without food don't have money for it anyways and are probably on welfare so its a pointless argument.
