I run Shell 91 exclusively and have had people tell me that it cleans your engine. However, I am the second owner of the car and I wasn't sure how well it was taken care of so I ran Seafoam through the BOV vacuum line. This is what the results were. My assistant may have held the throttle a bit long. Sorry for the shortness of the clip.

Thanks for the info. I've heard of people putting it through their engines and little to no smoke coming out so I thought maybe there was a ton of carbon built up in there.

Would you believe that it is hand shot with an iPhone 4 and posted to youtube? No editing on my behalf. Youtube did it all.

You don't need to rev it that high. Just high enough to keep the car from stalling. I just dip the vacuum hose into the sea foam for a split second then out again until I eventually use it all.

The reving was after letting the Seafoam sit in the engine for about 10 minutes with it turnted off. I didn't rev it at all when I put it in, just did it slowly so that it didn't stall. Everywhere I read online said to rev the hell out of the engine when you start it back up.

The smoke wasn't even black...that is just the seafoam vaporizing in your hot hot engine .

Yeah if this was carbon build up your smoke would be much darker.

Good to know and worth the $10 to find out. And it produces a great placebo effect on me

Would you say a darker grey or would it typically be closer to black?
