Help with evo MAF scaling...

How do I go about stripping the evo x stock scalings to a gst tune? I have the DIY intake for $70 and the Boost pill tune from gst. I'm looking to put on my catback and test pipe today but need to transfer these scalings over. I compared my current rom with the scalings enabled to a v3.0 rom from the baseman thread first page and could not tell the difference between the two. Am I overlooking anything? I could also use some sleep, I have a lack of it right now which is making this that much more frustrating. Please help!

You can do what I did. Load a ROM from a similar year SST evo x (you can find them on Bryan's site) into Ecuflash and copy the MAF scaling over. It's not perfect (my LTFT are still positive but way less than they were before. I have the logs somewhere but I recall it being +8 before and now it's +5 or +6).

Weird thing is that I have a "custom" gst map the Rich sent to me with evo x maf scaling already applied for my intake. I compared them to the base maps on the first page of the gst basemap thread and didn't see anything different between the modified map rich sent me and the ones on the thread. Am I not looking at the right thing here? I would really love to drive my car right now. Just got done installing a test pipe and catback exhaust. Just waiting to flash to the Boost pill+TBE map to test my baby out! I don't want to risk anything. Or am I just being a bit too paranoid about driving without evo x maf scaling?

Don't know. If you are comparing the correct customised ROM file, the three MAF Scaling tables should show up as different.

Here is your customised file, for reference.

Those three MAF Scaling tables are what you want in your new Base Map. They are just direct copies of Evolution X ROM MAF Scaling tables.
