So I have a 2012 Ralliart New Turbosmart duel port B.O.V. full upper pipes from ultimate racing and I have a boostpill from them as well as well as the proper GST tune for the car other then that everything is stock. There is about 22.5K miles on the car and just out of know where my car says that I need to have the AWD system looked at, There is no unusual noises and the car performs just as it always has. Does anyone have any of these experiences and is this something I can just wipe myself.

 

You've got warranty, bring it to a Mitsubishi dealership in case it is the ACD pump.

 

^^ Exactly, bring the car in. The acd pump replacement could cost upwards of $2000 but seeing as you still have a warranty get it looked at. If you lost the little display in the dash that says tarmac, gravel, and snow its def out. Dont let Mitsubishi tell you your warranty is voided because of mods either, because its simply not true.

 

Flash the stock tune back on first!!!! Mitsu would most definitely deny his claim of they find the computer flashed!

 

^^ So not true. Based on the Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act, those part have to be relative to the problem with the car and none are. Trust me I know as my car has been to the dealer for problems with this issue as well and I also am tuned. It pretty much is based on what dealer you go to. Some will hassle others wont but Ive had no problems and I have alot more done to my car than OP.

 

okay cool I didn't even know about that act, so I think I will just take it in, out of my own curiosity is this a problem that could potently do damage to the car??

 

They say theres a possibility of it hurting the drivetrain somehow but I dunno, I doubt it. There are numerous people out there driving months with their acd pump not working. I drove my car for almost 4 months before getting it rebuilt. Youll still have AWD you just wont have the different modes.
