Ic bolt wont line up

Ic bolt wont line up

I just installed my X intercooler, i noticed that i couldn't line up one of the two bolts on the bolts on the bottom of the ic, i got the right one but the left just wouldnt line up, so i just left it with one bolt and the hangers, is this okay? an suggestions?

The X IC should bolt up no problem. I had no problems with mine, only a pain withthe LICP. But I have also read other threads of people not bolting it up at all. Leaving the hangers and IC piping to hold it and they had no problems that way. If it was me, i would make a bracket or something to bolt the last bolt. But then again, im paranoid. Lol

My left hanger was bent when I picked one up second hand. I bent it back strait with some force (it should be parallel with the right side.

Hangars and one bolt will be fine if you don't want to get back into taking off the bumper... When I did mine I had to put one bolt in only a few threads and than the other in a couple threads than tighten them down. Also yes, the LICP was a chore!

Be sure you don't have anything hooked up to the intercooler before you bolt it on.
