One track that i seem to always have brake issues at is Blackhawk Farms. I've managed to boil fresh motul600 and ATE, once losing brakes and going off at turn 7 and the other time lost brakes in the pits right after getting off track. Both times were on a full street car, full interior and near the 300whp mark.

IMO:
ATE or Motul- work good for some LIGHT track use and autocross
SRF or Endless- The best, heavy track use.
Just so we're clear for all -- wet boiling point just means what the fluid will boil to at 3% water to volume of the system - 100 ml fluid = 3 ml water.

DRY boiling is the biggest concern. But hey, if you want to spend $80/L on SRF - more power to you. ATE/Amsoil/Motul are great too.

Ducts, ducts, cooling, ducts - makes/keeps brakes happy.

May want to start a separate thread Smike and get one of the mods to move the related posts over.

Yeah, might have to...

There is my big stuck thread in wheel and tire on brakes and pads too.

Talking race cars - yep. Dry > Wet.

More on it:
http://www.afcoracing.com/tech_pages/fluid.shtml

Again, wet boiling point is when there is up to 3% water in the system. If you race...you best be changing/bleeding on a regular schedule anyway. Should be little to no water in the system. Unless you did the bled in the rain.

well all i can say is, bleeding ATE fluid every 2 sessions (20 mins) and it still would fade. SRF i bleed once every 2 track days (8, 20 min sessions) and haven't had any issues since. the amount of ate i cycled through easily cost as much if not more than how much srf i use. my .02 and real world personal experience, not just looking at numbers on paper..
i would say if your (anybody's) pad/fluid is not giving you any issues then just stick with it. "don't fix it if it "aint broke". huge +1 on proper ducting though!

are we going to start arguing about brake fluid coming in plastic bottles too? Lol

Brake fluid is cheap. I use ATE currently because my car see’s one lap at a time, not 20. If it did, I’d use SRF.

Bro come on...it's blue vs yellow...hardly the same! lol

I'll be running motul rbf600 this weekend on 8 30 min sessions, hopefully things work out. I'm hardly the best driver, but I've gotten pretty decent with a Miata, trying my hand at the evo this round.

/threadderail.

engine is back in, rebuilt transmission and converted to LSD viscous coupler transfer case (front diff) since my ACD pump got smashed in the accident. also, machined billet motor mount inserts x4. what a PITA to get everything lined up with these, but totally worth it. power steering cooler mounted and new lines ran. moved oil cooler location, mounted and new AN fittings/stainless lines ran. more to come soon.

This thread is providing additional motivation to get my Evo back up and running already. I really want to see if my DIY aero mods I've been dinking with over the last few months will help my lap times at all... or if they'll just add weight and drag.
