Removing material from your brakes is a really bad idea. I doubt there's much excess material to remove anyway before you get too close to critical sections.

Thought about this as well...sucks...will be either wider spacers/lots of camber or wide front fenders (10mm) at least....sh*t....

yeah...I know.... Had an accident with her a while back, just got her from the bodyshop about 3 weeks ago, putting her back together now, but with limited time and all set backs, taking too long to complete....thinking about starting a bonfire....

Here's 275/40/17, I thought they looked small to. Only needed to roll the rears.

18x10 +38. I have a 6mm spacer on the rear for the trailing arm clearance. Its close but I haven't had any rubbing yet. I did have very slight rubbing on the rear fender when it was loaded down going to the event. I think if I add a little more camber or raise the ride height a bit it will fix the problem. Or I could run a modified trailing arm.

18x10.5 +30 (+5 front) NT03 w/ 285/30/18 Hoosier A6

18x10.5 +30 (+5 front) NT03 w/ 285/30/18 BFG R1-S

The BFGs are a whole lot wider. I had to do a bunch of work to get them to fit, even though they're the "same" size.

Hey! It works. I like being able to rotate my tires without dismounting now.

Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery, right?

Okay, I assumed that was the size, but don't think I know anyone running 285 street tires with that setup. Only have seen them on track and autox cars running A6. Now I know its possible.
