Oil Pressure and Temp Gauge Install
Defi sensors are 1/8 NPT if you looking for a place for the Oil Press. Remove the factory idiot light sensor under the #1 intake runner and put your defi one there. The block is tapped fron the factory for that sensor at 1/8 NPT, it's a one wire normally open switch (so unplugged the light on the dash will stay out) and the defi warning will make it redundant anyway.
Hope that helps

I may be over-stating my concern, because the block on the 4g63 is Iron, where as the k-series is aluminium.
regardless, remote mounting, can't be a bad idea.

On a side note, keep your eyes open on this thread. I'm going to be cahnging the install, because I don't like the location of the temp sensor.
Just and FYI..
The fitting next to the filter is 3/8 PT. I purchased a plug from Mitsu for a couple bucks and measured it on an optical comparator at work.
PT (or BSPT) has a different pitch and a different included angle on the threads than NPT threads.

I have something to add. I used the GReddy block adapter and it had some disaterous results. A pothole in downtown Chicago ripped my oil filter right off the engine. It sheared the threads that the filter screwed into. Luckily I heard the Defi warning go off as soon as it happened and I shut off the engine.
Be forwarned, DO NOT use the GReddy block adapter if you have any uneven roads! That little mistake cost me $750 to replace the filter housing.

OK guys I just installed my defi bf oil pressure gauge this weekend. My sensor had a 1/4 adapter on the end, so it fit perfectly into the hex bolt which is right above the oil filter (there are two of them, I used the one CLOSER to the filter).
FYI if you are going to attempt this, do yourself a favor and purchase an 8mm hex socket for your 3/8" ratchet. That hex bolt is a total b!tch to remove. Don't forget to teflon tape your adapter/sensor threads.

Also for both of these hex bolts there's no NEED to change the oil because only a small bit (1/4 cup perhaps?) will come out.

I haven't had the car running for 9 months now, so I haven't had time to fiddle with it
