I don't think it was mine. I'd like to see pics, though, if you can track any down. Mine should be back on the car in about 2 weeks. . .

BTW, did you get your front fenders on yet? Mine goes to the body shop on Monday

that was one of Robis cars, I want to say it was a DHP wing.
I saw it in person 2 weeks ago at robis house and the car itself is ridiculous!
Oh and im not ball hugging but the trunk that robispec is selling is light enough to hold with my pointer finger. seriously. it was done.

Oh yeah! That's my wing's cousin! That is V2.0 of the DHP wing. I believe it mounts to the rear deck area inside the trunk lid, rather than on the lid itstelf for strength purposes. . .

Let us know how it goes. Typically the 38et RPF1s need a 18-20mm spacer to clear the caliper. With a 15mm spacer the caliper will clear statically cold, but will rub when everything warms up.

Those of you keeping up with the TRE Rear Diff discussion know about my rear end hopping issue. Well, the car was bouncing even more this past weekend at the Milwaukee Pro. Steady state corners it doesn't do it. Corner entry it doesn't do it. Just corner exit under power. It was worse this weekend because the course was rougher than the smooth concrete of Toledo. . .

We've formulated our list of possible culprits and are checking them off one by one. Should know after another event or two which changes fixed the problem . . .

Not at this time. I haven't read about how to hook up the standard sensors in the car to the DL1, so I'm just logging the GPS and accelerometer data. It would be nice if you could just plug a cable into the OBD2 port and the DL1 unit and log anything you desire, but somehow I doubt it's that simple . . .

BTW, at yesterday's event it (the bouncing) was SO rough that I shredded a wheel speed sensor cable in the front divers wheelwell that I "thought" I had secured sufficiently. . .

well i'll give you a hint. you're getting front inside wheel spin and the acd is doing it's pulsing lock/unlock thing that it does in tarmac mode while the car has some non-zero lateral acceleration with throttle applied.

The electronic equivalent of clutch punching (to steal the drifter terminology) over and over.

Sounds awesome. Short stroke dampers aren't helping that situation (assuming jarrod is on the ohlins).

Hmmmm, maybe the old-school non-ACD setup in the VIII may not be such a bad thing...

Good deduction
