LOL.....Lets re-phrase that.

100% chance the car will start!!!

Changed the tables as instructed
re-enabled immo........Car starts
Change the immo. to a different code......car does not start.

Took a short drive around the block & the car runs fine.
No CEL at this time.....will take it for a longer drive later on.

Also you probably only need to change the very first word, not the whole lot...

Ohhh? So the immobilizer works now? That's the main reason why I haven't switched over to this rom yet.

Confirmed: this change re-enables the immobilizer. Setting an invalid value kills the car, setting it correctly (per my original 96940011 value) allows the car to operate.

Good stuff, tephra!

I noticed some differences in ECU_Periphery2 between 06 and 11. In 06, these bits are disabled:
- bit 9 (EGR Test)
- bit 10 (Map)
- bit 13 (Evap)
- bit 14 (Evap)

For the people that need to pass emissions, did you enable those bits? If you did, how did you fix these EGR related tables that are grayed out?
- Boost Enhancment (Anti-lag) Table
- Boost Enhancement Enrich/Enlean (Anti-lag) Map
- Boost Enhancement Adv/Ret Map 1 (Anti-lag)
- Boost Enhancement Adv/Ret Map 2 (Anti-lag)

Last question... I have a JDM Map. Can I leave bit 10 disabled and still be able to log it in EvoScan? I assume so because no one has mentioned it.

Thanks in advance.

It looks like 06 doesn't support EGR and Evap. Doesn't sound like it would be a problem with emissions either. https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...&postcount=155

Guess I'll flash the car and see what happens.

what im really curious about is if there's a benefit to running EITHER rom?
what i'm really doing is swapping a 4g63 into a '87 starion that will run off a evo VIII ecu...im getting a good deal on an ecu that's off a '05.

there seems to be more support on the 94170015 rom which is why i asked if i can/should just flash it over the stock 96940011?
