Also, the vacuum portions of the map are very similar to AEM's startup MAP calibration. Do you have a dyno sheet you can post from the day of the tune? Not pointing fingers. Just point a couple things I noticed out.
I hope your joking right. This map is VERY bad, and if oyu don't see that you haven't tuned an AEM.

<Edit>

I'm still confused I said it doesnt look like it was tuned properly. It was basically a nice way of saying "this map is very bad"

Found it. So a flat ignition map and the most ignition timing was used at peak torque I attached pictures for the people who can't see.

Timing and AFR

So from what i gather, regarding the timing, IF the AFR is good the motor will not blow up? Please comment...

If A/F isnt "good" and timing is "good" the motor (ringlands, pistons, etc) can go. If A/F is "good" and timing isnt "good" the motor (ringlands, pistons, etc) can go. They both need to be "good"

the fuel map is equally jacked.

tuning an engine is having both the fuel and timing set correctly.

I sent an e-mail to Sergio at CFT asking him or Rolo to explain why it is that they, and nobody else, believes this was a good tune.

In the mean time, I thank everybody for taking the time to help me. I am very impressed with the support people are offering.

What I really need now is a recommendation for somebody in central Florida who can tune this thing correctly. Vijay in Tampa comes pretty well recommended. Anybody have any other suggestions?

* Enthalpy in Tampa
* Jason Koehler in Pensacola
* Darin (Titan Motorsports) in Orlando
* Mase in Jacksonville or Gainesville

Brad Brooks also comes down every couple months todo some tuning. I know he is coming back down soon to tune a couple DSM's and Honda's. And st00pid over in Texas might be coming here soon.

I would wait for Vijay to comment on this thread. He would love your business, at the same time I am confident he will give a fair, unbiased analysis of this tune.

There is only one person to tune your car. YOURSELF. Educate yourself and take small steps and teach yourself. Seriously, tuning isnt rocket science. You will learn what is a safe max timing on different grades of fuel and at different RPM ranges, max safe boost levels on different grades of fuel in relation to timing and AFR's. Then once you gather all this information. Learn your software and start making small changes with the goal of meeting those safe levels. NOBODY will spend the right amount of time on your car except you. (unless you can afford to pay them). I can nail a UTEC fuel map with incredable accuracy in about an hour. Ramping from 14.7 following the load of the engine to 11.4 afr on 100 octane. A year ago, i didnt even know what OBDII was. Education is POWER!!!!!
