I have had at least one person tell me that this setup has too much ignition timing at low rpm and high boost, which is exactly when my engine blew. Anybody else have an opinion about this setup?

Beleive it or not, no matter how bad that ignition map was, your fuel is what killed you most likely.
WHO IN THE HELL TUNED THIS CAR?
It looks like automapping was on from AEM's basemap and they just drove with the car.
VERY BAD.
Anyway if you need help tuning the car when your all together let us know, we will be in florida this and next month.

AEMPower was hacked so can't look at the cal file any longer otherwise I would take a look as well.
The only fuel that has ever been in the tank is 93 octane from Chevron, Texaco, or Shell.
I still want to give the tuner a chance to make this right, so I'm going to hold off on putting his name up here right now.
I will say that it is an AEM certified tuner, and he used a Mustang AWD dyno to do the tuning.

I think you should put their name up so no one goes through the same thing. But man this sucks on a brand new MR.Originally Posted by sixspeed4dr

The car was tuned by Rolo and Sergio at Central Florida Turbo.
I figured out how to zip the file, so it's attached now. Anbody else want to share an opinion, I would appreciate it.

Wait, what are your mods. And for those without AEM, maybe someone can chime in as to what the details of the tune were. Timing, A/F etc.
Thanks. AFAIK this could be stock turbo or GT35R.

Timing looks like the base map from aem, but under boost it got worst.
AFR I dont know what kind of wideband was being used here. but someone screwed up big time. Unless again, that this map was the wrong one posted

Sorry that timing is not from a base EVO8 map. It has TOO MUCH timing in all areas, especially while increasing boost.Originally Posted by awddyno
