EVO will not start! please help
I have just recently rebuilt my motor and added a gt35r and EMS. When I go to start the car it cranks over and over but never starts, I checked and START SYNC never turn’s on just stay’s off..
I checked my cam and crank sensor and the are installed right and have power. Any suggestions you could give would be very helpful.. Brandon
I can hear the fuel pump kick on

I loaded a friends cal w/nearly the exact same set-up... What else should i have done?
Are you getting spark?
Try this off the aem forums
So, start your car with the stock unit, and warm it a bit up.
Then shut down the engine, disconnect the negative Battery terminal and swap ecu´s ( stock to AEM unit )
Reconnect your FULLY LOADED battery, switch Ignition on and try to connect to the AEM with your laptop ( DO NOT TRY TO START THE CAR)
If it does connect, do nothing with the software, only check for
STAT Sync=on
Crank the car ( hopefully it will start )
If you could not connect to the AEM, check the 2 Fuses in the yellow holder clip ( it is in the engine bay Fuse box beside the battery ) aprox. 1x1 inch in size.
If one of these are broken, change them with the right ones.
One time i had the same thing happen when my battery was low and i connected another car for startup help.
If the fuses were alright and the car wont start, and there is no change to connect, maybe the AEM is fried. You can try to reactivate it as described in the manual with the ISPBoottester.exe in the
C:\Program Files\AEM\AEMPro\Fin Recovery folder ( instructions also there)

i say to double check your cam position sensor and make sure the smaller vein is roughly at a 45* angle from the left corner bolt while on tdc. This happened to me and that was the only way to fix it. If its clocked slighty at the wrong angle the car wont start. Double check it, its only 3 bolts
