I need a base map for cams
Just what the title says, I need it for 264/264cams, stock injectors. If anyone could help me out I will be most grateful. Right now the car is running on the start-up map.
TIA
TIA
If you are asking this quesion....... Sell your ECU and go back to stock, get a reflash or piggyback...... You will be 100% ahead...... because if your asking for a 'cam basemap' you obviously have no clue what your doing, and you going to blow your engine like everyother person of your caliber that purchases the ems......... Might sound like dick advice, but it will probably save your motor..... The ems is NOT intended for inexperienced people. I've don't HOURS of reading, and taken efi101 (www.efi101.com) and i am still not competitent to be tuning my own ecu.
beware.
beware.

it's not for me. Just trying to help someone out to just get the car started. Seriously I could care less what classes you have taken and what you think I asked for some help and I get a "you dont know anything" post.
Myself personally I dont see the need for the EMS the stock ecu is great, remember these cars have only been here 3 years, the top tuners are still finding the loopholes in the stock ecu to make it run even better and create more HP.
Your comments clearly show your lack of knowledge into the EMS system, My comment may have been 'rude' by truthfully it will save your friends motor..... If your asking for a 'cam basemap' it is very clear you are CLUELESS and have a good chance at doing damage to the car using an ems system. I dont clearly understand where you are going with your 'stock ecu' comment, but again, it shows your lack of knowledge on this subject......
Define a 'top' tuner......... AMS? BUSCHUR? DYNOFLASH? guess what? They all use the AEM EMS for their cars.............. What does that tell you about their 'reflash' product.......

I can admit it, I dont know a lot about the system. Would he drive around on it for days? No. It's simply to get about 3 miles to the dyno where a aem authorized tuner can take over. Go give your advice somewhere else, it's not wanted here.

Not to be disrespectful but you should not use anyone's map for anything else than to look it over and compare their setting to yours. If you do not have the knowledge to tune the car yourself don't fool around uploading calibrations. Do you have a wideband installed and hooked up to log with the AEM? If so pm me your .cal file and log of a full throttle run, and I could try to help you out.
