hopefully the car has all the sensors, like EGR

you will need the factory computer and a reflash if it's modded

the AEM is plug and play for all facotry sensors, was it set in speed density or maf, there is a thread about putting the stock ECU back in for emissions testing and inspection that should be able to help you out. mostly you just want to either find a loop hole, most states have one, or once a year switch back to stock ecu for the check

I have done it before if you want to bring it to a shop. We can look at it and see what you need. Do you have the mass air flow sensor?

Search the ecuflash section, no need to make a new thread there though. You can find out everything you need by searching.
