hello everyone, I just picked up a evo a few weeks ago and it came with AEM EMS.
I seem to have problem with my mods and what I want.


I currently have a ams vsr intake manifold and a accufab 75mm tb, 4.6L flange. the problem I have is on cold starts it will not stay alive unless I keep on foot on the gas pedal. I realize that without a Idle speed controller my idle at cold start are hard. when the car actually warms up, it idles perfect. what are my options to achieve cold starts without gassing it.

change my throttle body to 5.0? and use the fftech isc adapter?
can the aem ems tune for cold starts?
use another brand of isc?

some input please.

 

Have Lucas at English Racing try to tune your car, have you thought of going back to the stock throttle body. You would not lose any horsepower or response and you would get you ISC back.

 

I can make them start cold and idle pretty good with no IAC.
