I spoke with TT and they told me that the conversion from the EMS and MAP back to stock would be relatively effortless. I still need quanitfy exactly how long it would take and how much I need to know, how many tools I need, etc. though. But I don't foresee much of a problem as long as you let them know your needs up front. Sorry to hear about your problems with Boost Solutions though. FWIW.

Man, I don't know how TT does it and YMMV, etc. but I warn you to be careful. Caveat Emptor. I swear to you that my experience is completely different. I'd suggest getting a written agreement with whoever sels it to you and install it so they will do the conversion later for an agreed upon price. Also, you'd best hope the tuner is still in business or you are still in basically good terms with them. Otherwise you will be very, very sorry. I promise

LOL I'm sorry you had so many problems. Hoenstly though all I ever here about TT is people raving about how great they are- not just the gains but the service. I will defnitely give them a call and discuss it at length though. If it turns out to be too much of a problem I may have to rethink my mod path. If I went EMS, I would just have to get the ECU reflashed. That way though, I could have the better gains and I'd never have to get my ECU reset whenever I go get emissions tested, since the EMS totally replaces it. The only problem would be having to get the ECY reflashed for the mods and then replacing it every time I needed to get tested. If I went with the ECU, I could afford the flash, some cams, an SAFC-II, etc but I would still have to deal with resetting the ECU for emissions. It's causing me a lot of head aches at the moment. I don't know enough yet to make an informed decision. I guess I will call TT when it comes closer to mod time and see what they think.
